Soul Fuel & Soul Fuel Explorers

Soul Fuel is a group that seeks to inspire friendship, faith and fun using Bear Grylls’ devotional book. Each young person has been given the book and it’s great to hear that some have been using it at home as a devotional.

The group is open to years 7 & 8 and takes place every other Monday at Grange URC Church (along Kents Bank Road) from 5.30—7pm. The group is slowly growing, and we have a core group of nine year 7 girls. We are exploring the possibility of meeting weekly

The group starts with fun, playing games like Limbo Dancing, Dobble and ‘The 5 second rule’. We then eat pizza together, before looking at what Bear Grylls has to say about faith. This gives them a chance to explore further questions of life. We then finish with more games.

Soul Fuel Explorers meets in St Marys, Allithwaite every other Wednesday and we have a small group of years 5 & 6’s. The group is in its infancy but it is great to see the same faces return each week.
