1 SUN - Pray that the Church would become a place where all people can belong and use their gifts.

2 MON - Pray for the team as they prepare the November edition of our What's New client magazine, that it is full of helpful content.

3 TUE - Give thanks for all those who support Torch through prayer, volunteering and giving.

4 WED - Pray for the leadership team and trustees that God would guide them and equip them for the ministry.

5 THU - As people meet online for Torch's Community Prayer time today, give thanks for all the answered prayers over the years, both for individuals and for the wider ministry.

6 FRI - Give thanks for the relationships Torch has with other organisations and pray that we can work well together.

7 SAT - Pray for any churches preparing a Sight Loss Sunday service, may God give them creativity and lead them as they plan.

8 SUN - Give thanks for the opportunity to air our <i>Reflections</i> radio show on RNIB Connect, may many people tune in and encounter Jesus through it.

9 MON - As people travel to Torch House for the Retreat please pray for safe journeys and that it will be a time of refreshing and renewal.

10 TUE - Pray for God's provision for the work of Torch and that He would connect us to new individuals to support the ministry.

11 WED - Our Development Team are seeking new ways to reach out and support people with sight loss, pray that God would lead them in all they do.

12 THU - Pray for our audio transcribers, especially when meeting a deadline for a newly published book.

13 FRI - Pray for the staff and trustees in Torch Malawi that God would give them a clear vision and equip them for the ministry.

14 SAT - As many of our TFGs meet today, may they have a wonderful time of Christian fellowship and know their value and worth in Christ.

15 SUN - Give thanks for all the churches taking part today in Sight Loss Sunday, may it be of lasting benefit in raising awareness and empowering blind and partially sighted Christians.

16 MON - Pray for our Operations Team as they ensure that Torch is run effectively, with integrity and in compliance with all government guidelines.

17 TUE - As our online TFG meets today pray for all of those who are unable to travel, for ways they can connect to others and be built up in their faith.

18 WED - Give thanks for all of the Pathway players that have been distributed and pray that people will grow in faith as they listen to God's word.

19 THU - Pray for Tom and Paul as they oversee all the technical equipment and programs we use.

20 FRI - Pray that more church leaders would hear about the Insights podcast and be challenged to make all aspects of church life accessible.

21 SAT - As we seek to reconnect with braille libraries, specialist schools and other organisations overseas, pray that we can reignite Torch's international ministry.

22 SUN - Pray for those who are housebound that they can find ways to connect to other Christians and that they would be comforted by the resources we send them.

23 MON - Pray that our Client Services Team would work well together to support our many clients.

24 TUE - Pray that the ministry of Torch would always be Christ-centred and that this would be evident in all we do.

25 WED - Give thanks for all the technological developments that have helped Torch's ministry.

26 THU - As the finance committee meet, please pray that God will give them clarity and guidance on how to steward the resources he has given Torch.

27 FRI - As we reach out to sight loss agencies pray that they will tell their clients about Torch's services.

28 SAT - Give thanks for the relationships we have with publishers allowing us to make accessible versions of their resources.

29 SUN - Torch exists to help blind and partially sighted people to encounter Jesus, grow in their faith and thrive in Christian community, pray that we would see this happening in increasing measure.

30 MON - As the staff team meet to start the week in prayer, please pray for God's protection, for good health and that they would each be effective in their ministry.

31 TUES - Pray for those who meet together through the various groups on Zoom and phone, that they may enjoy a rich time of fellowship together and encounter the love of God.

November

1 WED - Please pray for our clients for warmth, safety and good health.

2 THU - Pray for volunteer audio editors, for accuracy and wisdom in their checking.

3 FRI - Pray for Paul Rhodes, Micky and Mark who produce all of our accessible resources and dispatch them.

4 SAT - Pray for our team as they make plans for the Torch Together holiday programme for 2024, that they could find the right venues and activities.

5 SUN - Give thanks for the gifts blind and partially sighted people have and pray that they can use these in their churches.

6 MON - Pray for our Production Team as they prepare resources to send out, may they work well together under tight deadlines.

7 TUE - Today Keren will represent Torch at the Sight Village exhibition in South London, pray that she will have good conversations and make positive connections.

8 WED - As Torch hosts the Churches for All network today, pray that God would guide each organisation to see how we can best work together to make church inclusive to all.

9 THU - Pray for the board of trustees as they meet today that God would guide their conversations and decision making.

10 FRI - Our Insights podcasts are released each Friday, pray that many people will listen in and be inspired to get in touch.

11 SAT - Give thanks for those who are willing to share their experiences and stories to help raise awareness and encourage others.

12 SUN - Pray for our Regional Coordinators and plans for Torch Regional Days in 2024 that many people can gather together.

13 MON - Each year Torch offers clients a free Christmas gift, pray for the team as they prepare this material to be sent out.

14 TUE - Pray for the trustees as they seek to appoint a new CEO and for Tim as he prepares to hand over the leadership of the ministry.

15 WED - Pray for the safety of the staff in Malawi as they travel to visit the fellowship groups and to distribute resources.

16 THU - As people gather at Torch House for the coffee morning let us give thanks for all the friendships God has created through Torch over the years and pray for others to connect.

17 FRI - Pray for all those who receive Christian resources from Torch, both in the UK and around the world.

18 SAT - Pray for the leadership team as they make decisions and manage our team of staff and volunteers.

19 SUN - Give thanks for Grace and Marilyn who produce and host our <i>Reflections</i> radio show, pray that God would connect them to the right guests to share their experiences.

20 MON - Give thanks for the gifts we receive from trusts and pray for strong relationships moving forward as we partner in the ministry.

21 TUE - Pray for all of the volunteers who make TFGs possible, may they see fruit from their labours as they show people God's love through their kindness.

22 WED - Give thanks for all of the daily Bible reading notes that are sent out each month and pray that they would arrive in time and speak to the hearts of those who receive them.

23 THU - Please pray for the new Book Group and Podcast Group. May they flourish and provide new ways for people to enjoy connecting together.

24 FRI - Pray for guidance as we look to vary our selection of daily Bible reading notes.

25 SAT - Our creative God gave us all different gifts and skills, give thanks for those inspired to write our Bible reading notes and Christian books.

26 SUN - Pray for more churches to hear about our SLFC ministry and get involved making church accessible and inclusive.

27 MON - As Torch seeks to reach new people through social media channels, pray that we could connect with the right people.

28 TUE - Give thanks for all that God is doing in people’s lives as they receive audio Bibles and other resources from Torch.

29 WED - Pray that God will guide the team as they look into which exhibitions and events to attend to spread the word about the ministry of Torch.

30 THU - Give thanks for all of the books in the Torch library and pray that they will be well used.

December

1 FRI - Pray for any special Christmas events being arranged by TFGs; that they may be joyful occasions which relay the wonder of the incarnation.

2 SAT - As Torch reaches out to churches may they recognise the needs of blind and partially sighted people in their community.

3 SUN - Give thanks for all the churches who have ordered accessible carol sheets from Torch, may they help people to worship our Saviour.

4 MON - Pray for our team in Abingdon who need new readers to record the New Daylight Bible reading notes.

5 TUE - Please pray for our busy Transcription Team as they prepare accessible versions of books and magazines.

6 WED - Pray that our research will be effective as we reach out to blind and partially sighted people to understand their needs better.

7 THU - Give thanks for the legacy of all those who have been part of the ministry of Torch and for those who have left us a gift in their will.

8 FRI - Our creative God gave us all different gifts and skills, give thanks for those inspired to write our Bible reading notes and Christian books.

9 SAT - Please pray for all those who lead and run the TFGs, that they may be sustained and supported in all that they do. May those who attend the TFGs be encouraged by the times of shared fellowship.

10 SUN - As our International Liaison volunteer reaches out to organisations in other countries, pray for the right connections so we can serve more blind and partially sighted people globally.

11 MON - In the lead up to Christmas as the postal service is under more pressure please pray for the timely and safe delivery of our resources.

12 TUE - Pray for our clients who find Christmas a particularly difficult time of year, that they would know God's comfort and peace today.

13 WED - Give thanks for Torch House and the space to carry out braille production, pray that the machinery would all work effectively.

14 THU - Pray that as people take part in the annual Carol Service today in person and online that they would be drawn closer to God.

15 FRI - Linn and Matthew share their experiences as blind Christians on our Insights podcast, may God guide and bless them as they prepare each episode.

16 SAT - Give thanks for the website and pray for that more people will find it and be able to access our services.

17 SUN - Pray for Paul Wood's work seeking to extend the access to resources online for clients both in the UK and around the world.

18 MON - Pray for those clients who feel isolated, especially in bad weather, for those unable to go out or socialise; that neighbours and churches will support them

19 TUE - Please pray for the preparations of our one hour Christmas Day special of the <i>Reflections</i> radio show on RNIB Connect; may it really inspire people.

20 WED - As we investigate new opportunities to reach children and young people with sight loss may God give us the right connections.

21 THU - Pray for our team of six readers who record Premier Christianity each month under a tight time schedule.

22 FRI - As we offer people who received our free Pathway audio Bibles access to other services from Torch, pray they would be open to exploring these opportunities.

23 SAT - Give thanks for all those who are impacted by Torch Malawi may they know God's love through the support they receive.

24 SUN - Pray for the safety of any blind and partially sighted people travelling to church services or to visit family.

25 MON - Pray for any Torch clients who are alone this Christmas that they would draw comfort from Immanuel, God with us.

26 TUE - As we prepare <I>The Torch<i/> magazine to send around the world pray for guidance on what items to include that it would be an encouragment to blind and partially sighted believers.

27 WED - Pray for the right people to join Torch as volunteers, staff and trustees, people with a real heart for those with sight loss.

28 THU - Give thanks for the Board of Trustees who give up their time to share their knowledge and experience to govern the ministry of Torch.

29 FRI - Torch has given out over 1,000 Pathway audio Bible players, pray that they will be well used and that people will tell others about the opportunity.

30 SAT - As people enjoy time with friends and family pray for those who have lost loved ones that they would know God's hope.

31 SUN - As we end another year give thanks for all God has achieved through the ministry of Torch.
