The chapel was formerly home to its own Methodist congregation which is no longer viable.

It is now administered by Carver Uniting Church, which is a combined congregation of United Reformed Church and Methodist backgrounds.  Their main Church building in Lake Road is now too large for their needs and they will be using this chapel increasingly in the future.

we are situated on the corner of Main Road and College Road, Windermere.  LA23 1DY

Visitors are very welcome.


Services will be held here at 10:45 on Sundays 20 July, 17 August, 31 August 2025, and then on third Sunday morning of each month - increasing in frequency over the autumn.

Future dates:

  • 9 November - Remembrance Sunday.
  • 25 December 9:30 mince pies and 10 am Worship for Christmas Day

We also hold a weekly Coffee Morning every Wednesday from 10:30am till 12:30. 

Drop in for a cuppa and a chat, enjoy a jigsaw, bring your knitting, meet some friendly folk.
