MAKE EASTER SPECIAL

The Central Lakes Mission Community is initiating ‘MAKE EASTER SPECIAL' and invites the churches across the County to take part.

At this extraordinary time, it calls for ‘out of the ordinary’ ways of marking this most important season in the Church calendar. Most of us will mark it in our own homes either privately, or using online platforms, but this won’t be registered by the communities in which we live.

So you are invited

• to display some greenery / a branch on your door or gate to mark Palm Sunday, 
• and to display a (cross shaped) twig on your door or gate to mark Good Friday, 
• and then to display some (preferably yellow) flowers on your door or gate on Easter Day.

Please ensure you take the appropriate care in doing this, and keep up social distancing!’
We would like this to take place across the County so that the message goes out that although the Church can’t meet in buildings, it is still alive and well, and nothing will stop us from marking the events which are at the heart of our faith.
